good advice

i received some good advice tonight (you know who you are) I thought I would share it because I think its pretty gosh darn good advice.

"Approach each day with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind."

It was just the advice I needed. I haven't had the best couple of days...it all started with me getting sick. I have been fighting a cold for the past couple of days and when you're in a foreign country and chicken noodle soup doesn't really exist, and you don't have your mom...it can be pretty tough. My mom here is great...I really like her...but no one in the world could ever replace my mom. On top of having a fever Thursday afternoon, my computer crashed. GREAAAAAAAAAAAAT

long story short, I went with my mama to the computer store and the guy said there was nothing that could be done. The hard drive has crashed and thats the end of it. He said my computer is a ticking time bomb...I will be able to get files off of it if i do it fast but within a few days my computer just wont turn on anymore....hasta luego ordenador!!! (see ya later computer)
the good thing is that we have this wonderful thing called air mail, and i have these wonderful parents who are always looking out for me. Need i say more?

on a brighter note- I visited the city of Italica on Friday with my Architecture and Painting class. Italica is about a 20 minute bus ride outside of Seville. It was the first roman town founded outside of Rome in 206 BC. I saw roman ruins from 206 BC!!! it was one of the coolest things I have ever seen in my entire life. I will post pictures soon. There's not a whole lot going on this weekend...I'm laying low still trying to fight off my cold because next weekend I will be traveling to Madrid and I don't want to be sick while I'm there.

sorry this is so short...I will update more within the next few days!!

I hope everyone is well- know that I am thinking of you, and I miss you all so much!!!

ciao!

along with that good advice is the old tried and true that you've heard a million times: keep pushing the rock, and attitude is everything...
