We spent our last day in Ireland back in Dublin since we had to fly out at the butt crack of dawn on Tuesday morning back to Sevilla. Michelle and I really wanted to go to the Guinness factory, so when we got back into the city, we stored our bags at the hostel and away we went. On our way over to the storehouse we stumbled upon Christchurch Cathedral which was BEAUTIFUL! Just when I thought I had seen all the cathedrals I would ever be able to handle in my life, we came across this one. It's so different from the Cathedrals in Spain. It was a lot simpler and much prettier. I liked it a lot if you can't already tell.
Guinness was SO SO SO fun! we toured the 7 story factory and learned all about the ingredients and the history behind this world famous beer. We did some taste testing and ultimately made it to the 7th floor which is a bar with 360 degree view of the entire city of Dublin. AMAZING! not to mention at the top you get a free pint of Guinness. I mean does it get much better than this? I THINK NOT!
All in all our trip to Ireland was fantastic. I loved every single minute of it, however I know my bank account didn't enjoy it. Ireland is MUCH more expensive than Spain. We were definitely happy to return to 1 euro drinks, and free meals at Mama's house. However, now that we've been back it hasn't stopped raining at all! I don't have school until next Monday because right now its Feria. I will be posting about next week once its all over. All I will say now is that we were out until the wee hours of the morning last night, drunk and dancing Sevillanas. I LOVE SPAIN!
