tomorrow...United States of America

Can you believe that 4 1/2 months have already passed and I sit here now among suitcases packed for America. It has been an amazing semester full of new challenges, growth, learning, and memories that will truly last a lifetime. It's cliche, but it's so true.
I'm not sure how I am feeling about coming back to the US. Of course I am excited to see my family and friends, and of course I am excited to eat a cheeseburger, but at the same time, I'm not sure if I am quite ready to leave Sevilla, my new home away from home.
This semester has been challenging for me. A new place, new people, a new language, new food, and a new culture. All of these things combined to give me the worst nerves ever when I first arrived, and now it's second nature. I walk around feeling like I've lived in Sevilla for years, and I finally speak Spanish with confidence. It's a great feeling to know that I have accomplished something so spectacular in my mind.
I'm going to miss Spain. I am going to miss Mama the most, our Spanish friends, siestas, tinto de verano, the tapas, walking everywhere, the city as a whole- but I know I will be back someday when the time is right. For now, I take with me the lessons I've learned and the memories I've made, and I look forward to starting the next chapter in my book of life.
I want to thank all of you who have read this throughout the semester- I have really enjoyed sharing my stories and pictures with you all, and I can't wait to share things with you in person. Thank you Mom and Dad for EVERYTHING you have done for me this semester. I seriously could not have done this without your love and support, and of course the helpful dinero :)
So tonight is my last night in Spain and you ask- "what will you do?" easy, we will live it the Sevillano way- tapas and drinks tonight with our Spanish friends.
10:30 tomorrow I will board the plane- destination the good ole U. S. of A. I will leave with tears in my eyes, and a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart, knowing that I will always have a home in Sevilla, Spain. I truly am happy and grateful that I was able to spend the last semester of my junior year in Spain. Thank you all for your love and support. It means the world to me.

I love you all, and I look forward to seeing you within the next weeks to come.

I leave you with this-

Happiness is like peeing in your pants. Everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.
